Personal Philosophy of Art Education

My goal as an arts educator is to give students the type of multicultural education which allows them to develop their ability to critically engage in contemporary art practices, visual culture, art history, and art criticism. I hope that by giving my students the opportunity to receive a well-rounded and meaningful art education, they will learn the tools to emerge as free-thinking and creative individuals, ready to not only embrace, but to challenge all of what comes their way in life.
